On September 5, 2024, the 5 Years of HACC: From Concept to Capacity Conference took place, featuring Andrii Sliusar, a partner at the Nazar Kulchytskyy and Partners Law Firm, as a panel discussion participant.
“The most important aspect of the court’s work is adhering to the principle’ Justice needs to be seen to be done’, meaning that people must know justice is being administered fairly and independently,” noted Andrii Sliusar in his speech.

The conference gathered notable participants, including Iryna Mudra, a Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine; Stanislav Kravchenko, a President of the Supreme Court; Semen Kryvonos, a Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau; Oleksandr Klymenko, a Head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office; Vira Mykhailenko, a President of the High Anti-Corruption Court; Oleksandr Semennikov, a President of The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court as well as judges, representatives of international organizations, and diplomatic missions in Ukraine.

Participants also discussed two legislative initiatives:

- The draft law “On Amendments to the Civil Procedure Code of Ukraine and the Code of Administrative Justice of Ukraine Regarding the Improvement of Case Consideration by the High Anti-Corruption Court” (No. 10338, dated December 13, 2023) aims to ensure proper dynamics in considering cases within administrative and civil proceedings under the jurisdiction of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
